Last week I wrote about a web site that kind of picked apart a point I made about running back James Davis. I originally stated that Davis had earned a longer look, and I believe he’s earned more of a look following 
the third game. The guy looks like he’s got it – in preseason at least. (Wait ‘til he goes against Pat and Kevin Williams in the opener.) At any rate, a web site called clevelandreboot.com kind of picked apart my story. Which was fine. It’s an entertaining web site and has interesting stuff. Too, it found the photo to the right and put it in this post. Any web site that finds a guy that cynical and caustic has to be OK, right?
Since I pointed out they picked me apart, I should also give them credit by pointing out that when Davis got more playing time with the first team in practice last week it wrote: “Who knows? Maybe Pat McManamon was onto something.”
Small victory, but in this life you take all the small victories you can get.
