Another lament for "poor" Pete Rose

Another respected writer weighs in on Pete Rose. Joe Posnanski, a Cleveland guy, thinks it’s time to put Rose in the Hall of Fame. "I didn't think forgiveness was supposed to be earned," he wrote. "I thought forgiveness was supposed to be given. I thought that was the whole point." That may be true on forgiveness, but Rose still does not belong in the Hall of Fame.

One Response to Another lament for "poor" Pete Rose

  1. Elizabeth says:

Joe lost his Cleveland card in my opinion after that supposed love letter to Cleveland during the NBA playoffs this year. Instead of pointing out the good here in Cleveland, he just went to the easy stuff: listing all the epic fails and playing up the poor clevelanders angle. No mention of good things, like what the Cavs had done for the city, or other things like CSU's run in the NCAAs this year.
