How to entertain two 13-year-olds in Ireland

by Pat McManamon on August 12, 2009

in Ireland 2009, McManamon

Step 1: Have the cousin of a friend open her home to you with the typical Irish hospitality. Nora, my friend's DSCF5555cousin, could not have been kinder or more generous. She deserves a Nobel Prize.

Step 2: Have said cousin have a 14-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old friend who enjoy shopping and YouTube.

Step 3: Let the incredibly kind and generous cousin of the friend take you and the foursome to Galway, where they are introduced to Penneys, a clothing store with bargains galore. It's paradise for teens. And it's not J.C. Penney … but Penneys.

P-e-n-n-e-y-s.

Worth its weight in Guiness.
