You….didn't….expect….a 40-year-old washed-up greybeard who just had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago would be unable to quarterback a playoff-caliber team, starting tomorrow?
Really?
You didn't see that Farve is nothing but a selfish publicity hound who gets off on having the media fawn and speculate about him from the end of one season to the beginning of another?
Really?
That's….pretty incredible, Pat.
I don't buy it. Not yet, at least. Although, I am kind of humored by the fact that John Clayton is "surprised." I heard him on the radio, just a few days ago, he had plainly stated, in no uncertain terms, there was a "100% chance" Favre would be unretiring and playing this coming season. I don't think there is a greater percentage than "100," is there?
i'm not buying it either. this guy's so pathetic i have no doubt he'll try to latch on to some team in the middle of the season.
In the event Favre indeed doesn't come to the Vikings, I have two words for you which I'm certain are already going through the minds of Vikings management: Dog Prod. I would have thought Vick would be a Raiders or 49ers kind of guy, but I could easily see him in place of Tarvaris Jackson.
now he can bunk in the madden cruiser like those two have been dying to do for years
