alan t. July 28, 2009 at 5:42 pm: I don't buy it. Not yet, at least. Although, I am kind of humored by the fact that John Clayton is "surprised." I heard him on the radio, just a few days ago, he had plainly stated, in no uncertain terms, there was a "100% chance" Favre would be unretiring and playing this coming season. I don't think there is a greater percentage than "100," is there?

July 28, 2009 at 6:24 pm: In the event Favre indeed doesn't come to the Vikings, I have two words for you which I'm certain are already going through the minds of Vikings management: Dog Prod. I would have thought Vick would be a Raiders or 49ers kind of guy, but I could easily see him in place of Tarvaris Jackson.
