Grady Sizemore ranks 38, Victor Martinez 51, and Cliff Lee 61 on Joe Posnanski’s list of the top 100 players in baseball. I'd have Sizemore lower and Lee higher. Perhaps they should have swapped spots.

Where's Jamey Carroll?! (Unless there's a separate list for utility infielders who strike out a lot.)
That's hilarious. A .240 hitter who strikes out once every three at-bats is ranked as the 38th best player in baseball? Only in America, folks. Meanwhile, a pitcher who went 22-4 and won the Cy Young is ranked 23 slots lower?
I don't know who Joe Posnanski is….but he sure doesn't know baseball. Frankly, Victor is ranked much too high, as well. Remember, we're talking ALL of major league baseball, here. Not just the AL Central Division. You're really telling me that of 30+ teams, Grady Freakin' Sizemore is the 38th best? Wow. Just wow, Joe.
Actually, Shin-Soo Choo made the list, too, at number 68, giving the Indians 4 in the top 100. So if there are 30 teams, each team should average 3.33 players on that list. If you are lower than 3.33, it means you are one of the below average teams. So, I guess that makes the Tribe one of the better teams in baseball, right?

Tim, you are correct to call me out on Jamey. He is grinder, personified. Do you suppose that wise man, Joe Posnanski, could prevail upon Eric Wedge to put together a Top 15 Grinders List? (Those of you with math skills will recognize that I have laid a trap for Sugar Daddy Wedge: If I had said "Top 25 Grinders". he could've said "the whole 25-man roster". This'll force him to choose…I should be ashamed of myself.)
