This isn't such a bad thing

From EPSN.com's AFC North preview: "There is some early skepticism with the Browns because many disagreed with the way (Eric) Mangini came in and instantly changed the culture. Players had to quickly learn that Mangini is a disciplinarian who doesn't care too much about feelings."

I have no idea what to think of mangini as anything right now – and won't until we actually start playing games – but isn't there one person on earth who can coach a football team AND strike the careful balance between being a softie and a jackball?

I mean I know plenty of people who are quite successful in what they do while being normal people who don't let people walk all over them or treat others like a warm cowpie – how come so few sport coaches can strike a balance?

I mean the cavs go from lucas to silas to brown – softie-jackball-softie
    the browns go palmer-davis-romeo-mangni – softie-jb-soft-jb
wedge… well.. who knows? he's like a walking contradiction – i don't know what to think of him.

maybe that's what we do with the inbetweeners – we chew them up and spit them out
