The Cavs are one of four teams to work out Sean May, the former North Carolina standout who was taken 13th overall by Charlotte in 2005. Injuries derailed May’s career, and he’s attempting to revive it. The Portland Oregonian watched part of May’s workout for the Blazers and reported: “May underwent a series of shooting drills, post moves and related basketball activities with Kings assistant coaches Mario Elie and Shareef Abdur-Rahim. May displayed three-point range, low-post ability and looked as if he had lost a significant amount of weight since the end of the regular season.” There’s more here. Is May worth the bi-annual exception?

Freudian slip in the title, Pat. It's not a Scott May sighting. Scott is Sean's ex-NBA stiff pop. Sean is the current NBA stiff son. I hope that wily Danny Ferry grabs him before somebody's D-League team does.
Betcha didn't know that 13th pick in the first-round was originally the Cavaliers' pick originally traded to Phoenix for Wes Person eight years earlier. Phoenix then traded it to Charlotte. Sean May was just karma.
i thought sean may was just one of those nba balloon mascots. who knew he actually played?
