He'd be better off money wise using the summer to learn how to run a few simple pass patterns. The shelf life on most great kick returners isn't very long. Is Dante Hall still playing?

Dear V: How many times have "teams" restructured a player's contract? Uh, compared with the infinite number of "players" who demand restructuring (i.e. more money)? Let's put that ratio at about 99:1.

How is it he can't ask for a new contract, but if the team wants to restructure, they can? Not that I am a fan of screaming for more pay after you make the deal, but how many times have teams restructured a player's contract after it was signed?

I am going to guess that Mr. Cribbs gets very little support for a new contract.

He will threaten to sit. The Browns will not give him a new contract, which is the right move. He will come just before the season begins or before week 4 because if he doesn't he will still owe the team two years.

This scenario has played out in many places with the same result. The guy doesn't sit because it's not about the money, it is about RESPECT.
