That would have proven that the perception that Gilbert spends money isn't entirely bogus. Instead, they draft a guy who they know they'll never pay, let alone have to match with a penny of luxury tax. Pretty slick. It's a shame nobody from the local media will ever call them out on it. It's also funny that the local media, including you, Pat, says they still need a backup power forward. Which is true. So if DeJuan Blair turns out to be the second coming of Paul Millsap, which I suspect is eventually going to happen, whether it's this season or two seasons from now, Ferry should be held at gunpoint and forced to return every penny of his own salary.
