Pat,
Really enjoyed the chat tonight. Keep up the good work in the paper and on the blog!
— Eric
I enjoyed the chat. Then, unfortunately I heard I was absolutely correct for the 364th consecutive time with a Cavaliers prediction, this time correctly predicting Ferry would sign Varejao and the great Anthony Parker. I even was dead-on with my prediction that Varejao's agent would have Varejao, as I earlier wrote, "by the short hairs." WOW, was I ever right. Excuse me, but is Ferry INSANE?
Bye, LeBron. I'm already wearing Nets pajamas as we speak!
Oh, and again, I sincerely did enjoy that chat. Kinda cool, those chat things. Never seen one before. I envision Pat gave his daughters $10 to get some ice cream so he could sit at home alone in his boxer shorts, quickly trying to hack out his misspelled answers with one hand while shooing the cat off of his keyboard with the other.
I'm allergic to cats.
I meant I had earlier written that Varejao's agent would have Ferry by the "short hairs." Obviously, I didn't mean to write that Varejao's agent would have *Varejao* by the "short hairs." Unless I meant it literally, which I guess is always possible in this day and age. I do recall a few years ago, Windhorst actually wrote that Varejao has a large gay following. Really. Anderson Varejao is the Barbra Streisand of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
But back to this cat. Allergic or not, I still think you were shooing off the cat during the chat, Pat. (say that five times fast). All girls love cats, which is why you have one, and which is why you took an Allegra-D before the chat. I know things.
I participated in the chat for about 45 minutes but became bored with the subject matter. It's Pat's rant and frankly I could care less if I read comments from Brown's players that a reporter has gotten from being on the sidelines at practice.
No worries Tim … I can be a boring guy.
Pat, very insightful, with great examples to back up your feelings on the matter.
Thanks.
