Shaq's reaction to the trade

by Pat McManamon on June 29, 2009

in Cavs, McManamon, Shaq

The video that Shaquille O'Neal posted on his Twitter page (shoot me) made its way to YouTube. Here's the video, which Shaq dubbed his first official reaction to the trade to Cleveland (lyrics below):

I'm here at the crossroad.
Where my life is heading, man I don't know.
Should I stay or should I go?
Cause anything's better then what I've been through.
What I would give to get a sign from up above.
Letting me know that everything would be ok
I wish someone would pull me up from outta the mud
will anyone out there to say to me.

I'm here,
For you,
Don't worry cause I got you
Don't trip
Don't stress
My life seems to be headed
Over the edge.

Now everyday that goes by,
I see things that'll make another man cry.
I'm sitting wondering why.
I can't find that someone to fit in my life.

See I was searching,
But am I worth it
And if they ever think I'm good enough for them
Despite my suffering, I felt the lovin,
The blessing came when I needed it the most.
And that's the sign that I received from up above

Letting me know that everything would be OK.
And that was that something that pulled me out of the mud
And also was the one that said to me

I'm here,
For you,
Don't worry cause I got you
Don't trip
Don't stress.
My life seems to be heading
Over the edge.

No matter, no matter how far you fall.
You've gotta, you've gotta be ready to stand up.
I've been through the same things you're going through.
But you gotta believe in you.

I'm here for you.
Don't worry.
Cuz I got you.
Don't trip.
Don't stress.
My life seems to heading
Over the edge.

That is SERIOUSLY one of the funniest things I've ever watched. I can't wait for this Cavs season. Wish the Browns would just go 0-8 already…

I sincerely hope our new Walt Frazier enjoys his 8 months in Cleveland. Has a local travel guide introduced him to any of the suburban hot night spots yet? I'll bet he and his booty call harem will be partying at Corky & Lenny's like it's 1999.

Is he freaking crying???????
20 million dollars and he is crying?
A chance to play with one of the BEST ball players EVER and he cries???
I don't get it?

Suddenly realizing you'll have to step foot in downtown Cleveland at least 41 times will automatically produce a cutting onions in the kitchen effect.
