Joe Jurevicius sues the Browns and Cleveland Clinic

by Pat McManamon on June 29, 2009

in Browns, Joe Jurevicius, McManamon

I think it's going to be extremely difficult for Joe Jurevicius to prove where he got his staph infection.

I think it's going to be even more difficult to prove the Browns did not do all they could to keep their place clean and sterile. It's just very hard for me to believe the Browns were that lax given it's in the Browns interests to keep their players healthy.

I think the Cleveland Clinic will do everything it can to keep this from going to trial.

I think Jurevicus will get an out-of-court, confidential settlement.

Then I think LeCharles Bentley jumps in and files his suit.

I was kind of surprised that it was just Jurevicus that filed, that it wasn't a joint suit with the other players who went through this.

the browns organization is rotten from the head down. i have no doubt that this trial isn't going to court but i think joe could make this organization look even more bush league if given the chance.

Can we finally have some truth in advertising, and finally change the name of Dan Gilbert's great big suburban "go eff yourself" to the City of Cleveland "The Staph Infection Courts?"

Elizabeth, the reason is it's best for everybody else to let Jurevicus spend all the money for pretrial discovery. No doubt every other diseased Brown and ex-diseased Brown have since been advised by their attorneys to lay low for now. Before you know it, the Staph Infection Clinic will be very quietly settling with everybody who also got themselves diseased. No pretrial expenses, no fuss, no muss.
