Someone from Pittsburgh sent Tennessee linebacker Keith Bullock a new "Terrible Towel' after the Steelers won the Super Bowl. He did it because Bullock and LenDale White stomped on a towel on the sidelines after beating the Steelers in the regular season. "Hang this up in your locker room," the note read. Bullock said he won't do it again. White differed: "I'm a professional towel stomper." The Titans open the season at Pittsburgh Sept. 10. Why do I enjoy this kind of story so much?

That's because you are a closet "Stiller" fan. WHy don't these Pittsburgh people let it go? They are, as usual, sore winners.
I own a Danny Ferry rookie card that I stomp on pretty regularly, too.
uh, because it's a slow news day? …
"That's because you are a closet "Stiller" fan. WHy don't these Pittsburgh people let it go? They are, as usual, sore winners."
the sentiments of a true loser.
i never understood why cleveland is so bitter towards pittsburgh. both cities are dumps.
it must be the massive cleveland inferiority complex that drives this crap. steelers fans have six rings, an extra chromosome and they don't give much thought to the loser browns and their fans.
i also don't understand why the browns fans cling to this rivalry like a scorned lover. that team went to baltimore along with the good football that was played between the two teams. the expansion browns should try to start a new one with cincinnati or detroit–a couple other teams with a low caliber franchise.
I'm a lifelong Steelers' fan who lived in Cleveland for 5 years. I absolutely love that city but I couldn't believe the vehement hatred many of the people there have for the STEELERS and their fans. I'll never forget the day I was walking down the street with a young lady who had done some shots for Playboy. I was wearing a gold cut- off Puma jersey with black Levi's and a Pittsburgh Pirates cap. My celebrity status was astronomical !! That girl 'thought' she was getting all that attention. But those people thought I was one of the Pirates,if not one of THE MIGHTY STEELERS. Sorry Clowns,err..Browns but THE STEELERS are much loved by some in your city, even the fans who sport the Black n' Gold !! PEACE
Wow, is that Jeff Garcia posting about his beard … uhh … I mean "wife?" Hey, Jeff, didn't know you liked the Steel Curtain!
como, walking with your pin-up centerfold from the magazine flapping in the wind doesn't really cut it…great coordination too wearing black levis with a black pirates cap–imagine the fashion travesty had you been wearing simple blue jeans!! terje, you do raise an interesting point about ohio's love of the rivalry. i found the same thing at ohio state, where if you walk around wearing anything blue or yellow close to when they're playing michigan, you're going to get stomped. however, ann arbor hardly takes the same approach, they care, but not nearly as much. now for the browns, you can say it's jealousy or inferiority of the steelers…for the buckeyes, we've actually been beating michigan pretty decently in the tressel era, so maybe it's taking pride in the one thing we can.
Geddy's got it. I went to Pitt though- and we loved to hate Penn State. It's the same thing really. Long— Long Term rivalries are built into our whole beings. It comes right down to this- Sports allow us to openly love to hate somebody and the longer and greater the rivalry- the deeper the hatred-the greater the satisfaction.
I still hate you all back. I hope you start kicking the rest of the leagues butt just so I can hate you all that much more.
but we'll still kick yer a—————————– every time
Geddy, that stuff was hilarious !! That's why I love this stuff! Thanks for putting my hometown of Como,Ms on the map. The STEELERS have a HUGE fan base here in North Mississippi. Deshea is from Batesville,Ms (South Panola) and Kendall Simmons is from Ripley,Ms.(he was my wife's high school classmate). Deshea just held a camp in Tupelo ,where I'm told LaMarr Woodley has family. STEELER Nation has no borders!! Coach Tomlin coached at Memphis and Arkansas State so he also has a connection here in the Mid-South. My hometown is only 12 miles north of Deshea's and I've known him and his family for years. When I was in High School,North Panola vs. South Panola was a big rivalry. GO STEELERS and maybe Shaq can help LeBron bring a title to my OTHER hometown, just sayin' !!

Not really. I've lived in many cities across the US. Pittsburgh is one of the better cities. You want a dump? Go to Dallas or Phoenix
