Some NBA trade rumors to ponder

Some interesting trade rumors out there as Thursday's NBA Draft approaches.

How about Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo of Boston going to Detroit for Tayshaun Prince, Rodney Stuckey and Rip Hamilton? Interesting, but it's not going to happen.

Or Washington sending the fifth and 14th picks in Thursday's draft alon with a young guard to Phoenix forAmare Stoudamire.

The same story on CBSSports.com states that the Magic's take that they will pay the luxury tax to keep Hedo Turkoglu should be taken with a grain of salt. "All that means is there's no way they're going to be able to keep him," one team executive said.

Sure hope Danny Ferry can score as big a coup as J.J. Hickson in this draft! His talent evaluation is right on par with Mark Shapiro's. Namely…nil.

If Ferry doesn't do something major, like swinging a deal to get Ricky Rubio to have somebody he'll love playing with for years to come, James is gone. Basketball-wise, that guy has been given absolutely no reason to stay.

My god, what a botch job. So many smart, clever, wise, shrewd thinkers have come from the San Antonio family, and the Cleveland Cavaliers end up with Fredo.
