If anybody wants to see the original "The Shot," I thought some folks might also enjoy this. It's the entire game as opposed to just the short clip that was made famous by Jordan's Gatorade commercial. Note that ownership at that time pretty much allowed the action to speak for itself. The fans made their own noise and required very little prompting. As opposed to the insulting and condescending ownership of today, which believes the customers should all be treated like retarded children on each and every possession. "Defense … Defense … Defense … Defense … Defense … ad nauseam."
I downloaded it myself to make sure there are no viruses. It was extraordinarily depressing seeing how much hair I used to have, even more depressing than watching the last playoff game with Ron Harper in a Cavaliers uniform.
I've never before watched this game on video, I repeated that last shot over and over and over again. Until now, I had no idea it was Lenny Wilkens who torched that game for Cleveland. It was totally Wilkens' fault, nobody else. Why wasn't their best defensive guy (Nance) face-to-face shielding the inbounds passer to prevent him from making a pass? It makes absolutely no sense. Instead, incredibly nobody was anywhere near the inbounds passer! It just boggles the mind. The closest guy was Nance, and Wilkens set him at least 10-feet away from the inbounds passer with his back facing the inbounds passer, effectively rendering Nance useless. Inexcusably bad coaching. http://bt.davka.info/comments.php?php_torrent_id=4258

I also stumbled upon this. Not exactly Walter Cronkite-like behavior.
