When exactly does an opposing player decide it's time to send LeBron James (or someone on the Cavs) into orbit around Neptune? The one and only thing these two teams the Cavs have played have not done is try to knock them around. It has to happen at some point, no?

Pat,
It is coming. Personally, I don't think it will be that severe from the Hawks (Pachulia notwithstanding), but I think we can all agree that the EC Finals will be pretty brutal…especially if the Celtics make it through the Magic.
It is pretty amazing how playoff basketball has changed since the era of Bird, Magic, Isiah et al. They used to beat the living heck out of each other, with very few whistles; that's just how things were. Now, guys get tapped and the refs are blowing ridiculously quick whistles.
Let me add this, sorry for the 2nd post:
If it doesn't come, then all of the teams that face the Cavs have coaches and players that are complete idiots.
Why would you even ask such a question? We're playing BASKETBALL here, not mixed martial arts. Good golly, dude, get a grip. If opponents have to resort to such actions, then David Stern needs to begin doling out season-long suspensions and fining the guilty franchises hundreds of thousands of dollars. It's bad enough that the occasional thug ever stoops to such jealous levels, but to have a newspaper columnist ASK when it's gonna happen, almost INVITING such an assault, is just mind-boggling.
Jason … I enjoy dry senses of humor in a major way, but was your post for real? Help me out here.
"…knock THEM around …" or HIM?
