Goodyear is joining the NBA's MVP craze. The blimp is, at least. Maybe it's an Akron thing. Because Goodyear has blimps in South Florida, Ohio and SoCal, Goodyear will conduct its own MVP vote – the three leading MVP candidates are in Miami (Dwayne Wade), Ohio (LeBron James) and LA (Kobe Bryant). The blimps will fly tonight in Miami, Cleveland and Los Angeles to augment television coverage. All will display a phone number – 1-800-773-9614 – for fans to call and vote for their MVP. Voting will take place in Cleveland from 7-11 p.m., which is when voting will take place. The Spirit of Goodyear (right) will fly in Cleveland.
