There is justice in the NBA — Allen suspended

by Pat McManamon on April 14, 2009

in Anderson Vaejao, McManamon, Ray Allen

Ray Allen was suspended one game by the NBA for his elbow to the groin of Cavs forward Anderson Varejao. It means nothing to tonight's meaningless game against Philadelphia, but it will cost Allen $158,000. Allen responded with the elbow after Varejao flung him to the floor during the Cavs' win over Boston on Sunday. You can see the incident here.

What a classic act Ray allen is. He elbows Anderson in the balls and then complains after the game that the Cavs were having too much fun on the bench. I do not have the words to express how much I hate this Celtics team. They are pretenders and were lucky to win last year. I still say if Boobie had been healthy for game 7 we would have won.
