Home court means a lot of something

If you think home court does not mean something in the NBA ,consider what Rajon Rondo said after the Celtics lost to the Cavs at the Q: "On the road it's hard to fight back with a crowd like this."

He didn't say with cabs lined up on Euclid Ave., with night approaching or with your playoff seed already clinched. He said "with a crowd like this," which shows the impact the Cavs home crowd can have on team and a game.

Every NBA team is confident. Every NBA team feels it can win on the road in the playoffs. But the team with the home court has an edge. It means something.
