Could Cavs have to face Miami and Orlando in playoffs?

J.A. Adande makes the point that the two Florida teams – Miami and Orlando – could be the most interesting in the East come playoff time.

"Why can't Orlando come out of the East?" he writes. "They're 2-2 against Boston, 2-1 against Cleveland. It's not the most likely scenario, but it's not impossible. With Dwight Howard they'll have the best center in either series if they want to play conventionally. If they want to take the unorthodox way to a championship — the outside way — they have made more 3-pointers than every team in the league except the Knicks.

"There are actually more questions about the defending champion Celtics right now than there are about the Magic."

It's very possible, in fact likely, the Cavs could face both teams: Miami in the second round (if it beats Atlanta) — and wouldn't that be something to see LeBron and Dwayne Wade in a seven-game series – and Orlando in the Eastern Conference Finals. I still think Orlando is a very challenging matchup for the Cavs. Of course, given Miami and Philadelphia are virtually tied for the fifth spot, there's also a chance Orlando and Miami could play each other the second round, which would be the best thing for the Cavs.

If you want more on the Magic, here's an exhaustingly detailed assessment of that team.
