Folks who like listening to Austin Carr do Cavs games (like me) would also enjoy his blog on Cavs.com. Tuesday he writes: "A lot of people have suggested that maybe it was good for the Cavaliers to take their lumps on Thursday and Friday. I don't ever think it's good to get thrashed like they did, because it leaves a scar."

How can anybody, let alone a professional sportswriter, actually enjoy an unapologetic shill who adds absolutely nothing in the way of analysis? Comparing Austin Carr to Matt Guokas is like comparing the crap served by Taco Bell to the cuisine served at a five-star restaurant. Carr would carry actual pom-poms with him to the telecasts, but he no longer has the legs for it.
Sorry, Pat, but you lose a portion of the purported objectivity in your Cavs columns when you openly admit that unrelenting shilling for the home team is your cup of tea.
I like his sense of humor, Alan. His pro-home team stance is evident but I accept it. I guess I figure I know what I'm getting with him, so I enjoy what I want and accept the other stuff.
