A lot of mock drafts have the Browns taking a defensive player like Everette Brown of Florida State or Brian Orapko of Texas, but I wonder if the situation at receiver means that Michael Crabtree is figuring prominently in the plans.

1.the big kid from boston coll,if he still there..if not poss macklin, over crabtree, does more things..2 round safety, poss jonson from bama..then dep ending on which didnt happen reciever or db..running back 4 th round.
prefer to trade down, otherwise here is my dream draft:
1st: Everette Brown– a sack machine, especially under Buddy Ryan's lad.
Early 2nd: [if he lasts this long] Alex Mack, center from Cal, an animal anchor on the O-Line.
Late 2nd: Robisky from The OSU–forget Crabtree–to spend our #5 pick on a WR would be foolish.
I'm hungry.
Crabtree isnt so crazy if something happens with Cutler. If Detroit is the third team we end up with their #20 (2nd first round pick). #5 Crabtree, #20 best LB available (Mathews III, Laurnitas) #36 McCoy / Brown (Beanie if he slips, somone will) RB or best DB or LB #50 RB, DB DL whatever we didnt get at 36.
Now Crabtree doesnt look so crazy, E Brown is Kam Wimbley II, Orakpo will be stiff like most Tx players lately. No need for Raji cuz Shaun Rogers isnt going anywhere
One thing about the draft in general and player ratings in particular: nothing ever plays out as advertised. Crabtree will probably not end up as the best WR. Someone like Nicks or Britt or Robiskie will. This is nobody's fault, it's just the nature of things. Players out of nowhere step up and superstars flop. Good personnel guys find them and good coaches "coach em up".
its a qb driven league..why not take sancez, then u have 3..start wheeling a dealing ,and see what shakes out…
I think we should draft QBs with all our picks.
