I kid you not, I was surfing on ESPN&#039;s site this past Thursday, and when I got there, on the front page, I immediately noticed the word &quot;epic&quot; was used in FOUR different places on their page, whether to describe a sports result, their crummy blogs, their no-effort podcasts, or whatever crap they&#039;re churning to drive traffic over there.

Please, for the love of all that is still pure in sportswriting, STOP IT.  No more &quot;epic.&quot;  Thank you.</description>
