This baseball stats site points this out about Grady Sizemore: "Grady has made $4.2 mil in his young major league career while producing at levels valued around $102 mil, a mind-boggling number." The in-depth numbers tell the story — if you can understand what these in-depth numbers mean. I kind of read it like Linus said he reads a Russian novel — act intelligent and when you get to something you can't understand, just bleep right past it.

5 posts in a day! pat, that must be a record for you. that cavs game last night got me pumped up too.
Trying a new style here … Terje … more short posts as they hit me as opposed to saving everything up for one longer post. Thoughts on what's better?
either way works for me.
…"producing at levels valued at $102-million?" In whose twisted universe? Do those numbers take into account Grady's month-long slumps or two strikeouts per game?
Pat, yes to the short posts, good idea. But as posted above, the longer ones are just as good. Mix it up.
Pat,
These short posts are producing at levels valued at (or about) $49.621 milllion.
Interesting, this shorter, more frequent posting as the urge hits thing.
Do women enjoy having sex that lasts only three seconds, but having it five different times a day for an aggregate total of 15 seconds a day, every day? Or, do they prefer having one single shot that lasts for over three hours, but only having it once a month?
I don't know the answer, I'm just asking the question. Who am I, Dr. Ruth?
Someone remind me why I asked Alan to come back …
Pat, after the ear infection and the general wooziness subsides, it will all come back to you.
