For your Saturday entertainment …

A personal favorite … and a classic song … probably would be in the list of 10 best ever. They just don't make music like this very often. The lyrics, the passion, the piano. Fabulous.

And I include two versions …. the first is Don Henley solo, which given the nature of the song is about as good as it gets. The second is from the Grammys, and has Don Henley and Bruce Hornsby together … but you have to listen to a one-minute Japanese introduction to get to the song. The musical elements make waiting through the introduction well worth it. When the song ends, check out the list of nominees … slight difference from this year, eh? And by the way … what's with these award shows and their constant habit of always giving the award to the guy or woman who just performed. Said person just happens to be standing at the edge of the stage to receive the award. Not too obvious is it?
