"Here’s what I wonder: Yes he may have been judged innocent, but how in the world does someone put themselves in the situation where they are charged with such a crime?"

What situation is that? He knew an underage girl who has admitted that she is a liar. Ever think that she just wanted her 15 minutes of fame? Shame on Devoe, he should have known that. And shame on Jim Tressel for pulling Devoe's scolarship offer. Apparently Holy Jim doesn't believe in "innocent until proven guilty" but rather in "guilty if accused."

I guess it does not bother you that she looks a bit nausiated with those rolled-back eyes? Dream on, our little Pat!

Paul Pierce was seen as a great player on a team that comprised of two players that, when history looks back at them, will show to be better, more accomplished players. If you put any superstar on the same team with Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen, that superstar will be seen in a much better light than a player placed on a team that is comprised of nobodys. Paul Pierece is a great player but is not even the best player on his team and is most certaintly not the best player or even in the top 10 of best players in the league.

Paul Pierce would not make most intelligent analysts' TOP 10 list, let alone top five! Boy, is he delusional.

Just so we don't have to listen to a daily report about LeBron going elsewhere for the next two freakin years, a la Brett Favre, can we just accept it now: He is leaving for somewhere. Period. Who cares where? Then, if he stays, it'll be a big bonus. But please, stop the incessant speculation. NE Ohio people are too stupid and weak to deal with the daily drama.

I'm also disappointed in Josh Cribbs wanting to renegotiate after only one year into a seven-year deal. Do contracts mean nothing anymore? Can the Browns go back and renegotiate when a player has a sub-par season? Josh didn't have to sign that deal, and the Browns didn't have to offer it, either. That said, Chicago is absolutely insane for giving Hester that dough. And Cribbs's salary should be doubled.

Finally, I hope you don't proudly count Alan T. as a loyal reader. His ramblings are idiotic.
