Uhh ... I think you've seen "Die Hard" and the sequels one too many times. Good terrorists have better things to do than strap a stick of dynamite inside Tayshaun Prince's shorts.

Newsflash, genius. Did you forget the 1972 palestinian terrorist attack on Israeli atheletes? It is already in their playbook.

NBA players are "a high impact target for terrorists???" Wow. That's a new one. Osama bin Laden intends to bring America to its knees by blowing up Carlos Boozer.

Come on, Patrick. Isn't this the time to raise the issue of how absurd the olympics have become with professional basketball players participating? A one time dream team was one thing but to keep it going now is ridiculous and only about the money. The NBA should put a stop to this. I have no desire to see the NBA players on an international stage. It is meaningless and carries too great a risk across the board. Not just personal injury but they make a high impact target for terrorists as well. This policy should change! Before someone like Lebron suffers a career ending injury in the equivalent of an all-star game. Now, for those who say Lebron will play ball anyway fair enough. But he will be playing it in more controlled conditions and will be nearer to the medical facilities he needs. Further, a 2-2 game is not comparable to a 5-5 with other teams trying to make their once in a life time mark by beating the Americans. I don't care at all about the Olympics and who wins (haven't since the days when college players represented us) but I do care a great deal about a healthy and rested Lebron playing for the Cavaliers next year.
