I agree with the wait times at Cedar Point. In fact, I won't even go there anymore because of the ride waits. My common sense kicked in a few years ago when I realized I just drove from Akron to Sandusky, spent 5 hours in lines, rode 3 rides all day, and I still managed to drop close to $200 for the day for me and my wife to have food, get in etc. It's bogus. Even the Gemini for some reason I had to wait nearly 45 minutes to get on.

Whereas with Geauga Lake, which was closer, I never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to get on ANY of their rides. Yeah, they didn't have the Dragster or the Millenium, but they had some really unique rides that in my humble opinion were much better than the quick thrill rides like the Dragster. The Mind Eraser, X-Flight and The Villain were simply amazing. The X-Flight alone was more thrilling than anything I've ridden at Cedar Point.

As you can guess, I'm very upset at the closing of my favorite park, and feel that Cedar Fair, barring a company picnic where it's practically manditory to attend, will most likely never see another dollar from me.

The Mill Ride — there's another casualty of Geauga Lake closing. They changed the name to Pepsi Plunge though. Believe that? The Mill Ride renamed and commercialized.

As for Adriana … do we say she's moved up or down from the riverboat geek to the guy she's with now?

Thanks for the Cedar Point memories. I worked there the summer of '73. Yes, I'm THAT old.

I believe Adriana Lima worked on the Mill Ride that summer. She dated some geek who worked on the riverboat cruise.
