Now that I stop and think about it, I'd actually chip in a few bucks to make a giant Akron Beacon Journal billboard. Then I'd help them hang it on the freeway near Jacobs Field to stick it back to the Plain Dealer. One that has the Beacon Journal's circulation department's phone number on it, a huge picture of Ocker's head, and proudly screams to all of Cleveland, "WASHING THE DIRTY SOCKS!!!" Either way, something is going to be diluted. Speaking of diluted, it's my understanding that the PD is shoving the Pluto-grab up the BJ's butt, talking trash, spiking the football and doing the sack dance. All at the same time. I haven't seen it, but evidently the PD has paid some shekels to exhibit a gargantuan billboard with a Godzilla-sized Pluto head accompanied by the PD circulation department's phone number. This monster billboard is said to be on I-77, northbound near the downtown Akron exits. If anybody out there has a digital camera and is in the area, I'd love for them to take a picture and post it.
