Was there one, just ONE, Indian fan anywhere excited about bringing back Joe Borowski? Why is it that Joe Fan can see there's a problem faster than the guys paying salaries? There are numerous spots on this roster that are all-out awful, and the fans were calling for change in the off-season. #1: The complete lack of offense in appx. half of the games. THIS AIN'T WORKIN', SHAPIRO. It was an abomination last year, and you brought back the same cast of punchless pansies again!

Earth to Mark: A rally with this group requires several hitters in consecutive order to get a hit...not likely with a bunch of .250 hitters. A rally with a couple HR hitters requires one swing of the bat...instant run(s). That's Baseball 101. Stop trying to reinvent the game, a la Oakland's GM Bean.

Middle relief pitchers are by and large unpredictable year to year, but closers aren't supposed to be. Closers are supposed to be anchors.

At least the Indians have a few options on the roster.
