The "our thoughts" phrase you use is a little troublesome. A blog that offers some kind of consensus your staff has come to sounds like a drag and would be repetitive anyway. If you have thoughts that are different from what your reporters write, it lends credibility to both you and your writers. It would also be interesting to readers who wonder how things work.
