Well, there's Windy and Danny for sure. Then two guys--"The Savage" and "Sharpy"--I can't identify because they don't use their real names.

Good point, what's with all these ridiculous "open letters" to Varejao? First it was Pluto, and then it was McManamon. What the hell? These two guys seem to have their jobs and their newspapers confused with Facebook and MySpace. I haven't looked, how many friends do they have?

Speaking of Pat, I haven't read an "open letter" to Anderson Varejao in, what, four or five days. He seems to take it personal. Embarrassing.

He's on a blog sabbatical, trying to come up with a better title for his regular column. I'd go with "Mac" something--the different 'Pat's' titles just haven't clicked.

Whatever happened to McManamon and the washing of his dirty socks? Did goons at the Beacon Journal break his washing machine?

The blog should cover whatever's on your mind, excepting the pro-Steelers sentiments that seem to ail you at times.

The "our thoughts" phrase you use is a little troublesome. A blog that offers some kind of consensus your staff has come to sounds like a drag and would be repetitive anyway.

If you have thoughts that are different from what your reporters write, it lends credibility to both you and your writers. It would also be interesting to readers who wonder how things work.
