I suppose it was more plausible than saying it was flaxseed oil prescribed for his hormonal salad. Or that he thought they were B-12 injections. But now I have to wonder why Hafner changed his 2006 regimen. Maybe the new ball and chain at home told him to go cold turkey. A slugging percentage of .659 all the way down to .451? In one season?
