TBS baseball playoffs

by Ron Ledgard on October 3, 2007

I think TBS/TNT will do a fine job on postseason baseball.

TNT does the NBA far better than ESPN does.

With Chip Caray, Bob Brenly, Cal Ripken, Tony Gwynn and Ernie Johnson Jr., it should be quality coverage.

And with Alyssa Milano listed as part of the crew, how can you not watch?

This really doesn't have to do with Chip Carey or anything, but would anybody even give Alyssa Milano a second look if it wasn't for the fake rack? Seriously. With the possible exception of central air conditioning, fake racks have got to be the greatest invention in history.

The addition of Alyssa Milano was a FOX-type move. At least we're spared the preening Bob Costas!

I like Costas. A lot. In fact, I think he's one of the greatest assets in sports media. And he doesn't overcompensate for his short height by wearing saline medicine balls.
