For those who are fans of Dan Patrick, he will be starting a new show on a radio syndicate Oct. 1. No word, yet, on what stations he will be on this area. He left ESPN last month.

That's an excellent question, Johnny. Somebody like George Thomas has a solid rationale for his long blog sabbaticals, he's far too busy chasing down the Beacon Journal's beancounters for reimbursement of his Akron to Columbus round-trip bus tickets. I looked on Greyhound's website, that's $44.50 coming directly out of George's pockets. But I see no similar situation here.
