I guess if you replace nothing with nothing, you still have NOTHING. LeBron has NO teammates worth a darn. They will never win until Ferry figures out a way to get some able bodies to play with LeBron.

The proverbial "window of opportunity" does not stay open forever. Northeast Ohio fans know that too well. Danny Ferry quite possibly has the chance to become one of the biggest GOATS in Cleveland sports history. First, his salary put a stranglehold on any chance the Cavs had to win the big one while he was a player (not his fault), and now he holds the ability to grow this team into a champion.

It's up to YOU, Danny!

Ferry is too chicken and too hamstrung with the contracts of his past mistakes to pull off any trade of significance. He'll probably just match the offer sheets for Verajao & Sasha and pat himself on the back for a job well done...when, in reality, he will have done nothing at all to upgrade the team.

If Ferry's offering Hughes and Snow, he's not serious about making a trade. I'll bet some team might be interested in a sign and trade for Verajao, however.

I also think I'm the only Cavs fan in America who agrees with Alan that Francis should be targeted. He's an elite talent when healthy and the Cavs will have to take a chance on someone like him if they're going to pick up a legitimate second scorer. They should have tried to get Zach Randolph.

Yeah, they were able to add Drew Gooden and Anderson Varejao in a trade. And they still would have been far better off re-upping Boozer. The sheer genius of Jim Paxson and Gordon Gund.

I've been writing it for six months, if Francis' contract is ultimately bought out, he is the guy. Given the mountain of cap room that Ferry irreparably torched, he's the only person out there with some semblance of skills that might be willing to come to Cleveland for what Ferry can offer him. Of course, with Ferry being Ferry, he would sign Francis to a neverending multi-year deal, but hey, when you're a Cavs fan, you take whatever you can get. I'm pretty much immune to moronic behavior from general managers and owners.

Mo Peterson? Well, now that I stop and think about it, with Ferry running the show, this makes perfect sense. Five years of Larry Hughes. And Ferry is probably already on the phone with Curly Neal 's agent desperately trying to lure Curly out of retirement. And VOILA! Larry, Curly and Mo. Buy your season tickets now.
