Knucklehead? Who's the real knucklehead here? I'm not complaining, but then anybody with two eyeballs and a brain that can read words would know that. Just making a point to people who are inexplicably attacking the guy who's running this blog, as well as attacking anybody else that raises the rhetorical question if the Browns gave up too much. Nobody knows. Except you, a few other local yokels, Dionne Warwick and Miss Cleo. How much do you charge for a session? What am I wearing? Is my father as bald in the afterlife as he was here on Earth? Or is God giving him the Fabio look? I hope so, but you tell me.

It's knuckleheads like A.T. who've given Cleveland fans a bad name for decades. All they ever do is complain, instead of enjoying the teams or their attempts to better themselves. He's just pathetic.

Notice his idiotic comebacks above: "No, YOU get a clue." "No, YOU give it a rest." He's one of those mental midgets who will jump on the opposite side of any argument, no matter how obviously right the person is. You just have to ignore him, and he'll crawl back under his rock.

You weren't even born when Paul Warfield was traded and Mike Phipps was selected third. Great trade that turned out to be.

It's moronic to proclaim something a "steal" when the guy hasn't even played a down and the Cowboys' selections haven't played a down. For all anybody knows, the Cowboys' high picks are going to end up in the Hall of Fame, and Brady Quinn is going to end up sucking like a vacuum like Phipps.

Nobody knows. So when somebody asks if the Browns gave up too much, it's a valid question.

Seeing how EVERY professional draft analysis and evaluator is saying the same thing…that the Browns got the absolute steal of the draft in Quinn…maybe the resident dissident, Alan, should give it a rest.

One other point: Notice how the Browns have been TOTALLY IGNORED by the NFL and national media, including Monday night and other featured games since their return in '99? With one pick, one pick…that has all changed. Like him or not, Brady Quinn is adored by the nationa media, and you can expect the Browns to reap untold fringe benefits from his selection.

WHO CARES where the Browns' geniuses had Quinn? That's your argument? How is it relevant that the Browns had him in their "top 5?" If they had scouts who could scout in the first place, then they wouldn't have stunk so badly to earn such a high draft pick!

I'm not saying Quinn is going to be good. I'm not saying Quinn is going to be bad. But jeez, YOU get a clue. Where do you get the bright idea it's a "steal?" Not only did they give up high picks this year, but it's likely the Browns are going to stink again, which means another very high first-round draft selection next year. The Browns are not going to be able to use that valuable selection on a potentially excellent player, but Dallas will.

The bottom lines is that Quinn may have all the professional skills of Jiri Welsch wearing an oversized helmet. Indeed, Dallas may have gotten the better of the deal. Way too early to tell. People in Cleveland should have a better idea by around 2010, about the same time the East Coast is rooting for LeBron as he dons a uniform that doesn't say "Cavaliers" on it.

In what world did the Browns give up "too much" to get Quinn, who the Raiders nearly took at #1? Geez, I'm so tired of people trying to find a "downside" to this deal. The Browns had him in their top 5, meaning he is a high first-round talent. They gave up a 2nd-round pick to get him. That's not worth it? Are you KIDDING? Look at the QBs who'd be available next season. Were you willing to suffer with Frye and Anderson for another year, and take your chances with a mediocre crop of QBs…rather than expend a 2nd round pick now to secure the team's "first round" QB a year early. C'mon, get a clue. This was a complete STEAL for Cleveland. And if you don't think so, call up the Miami fans and see how they like "their" 2nd round QB along with an overrated and injured Ted Ginn. That bungled move will haunt the Dolphins for as long as the Tomlinson debacle has haunted the Browns. Finally, though, the cards fell our way and Savage had the sense to go get his franchise QB before someone else could snatch him. Whew.
