Bonds — Aaron
Barry Bonds hit his 739th home run Saturday. Are you folks mad, excited or carefree about his pursuit of Hank Aaron's record?
I thought that I would be more interested but, really, I think Bonds will break the record but that Alex Rodriguez will break it, possibly finishing his career with more than 800 home runs.

To me, it's as if Bonds and his career never happened. I will not acknowledge his cheating ways any more than Corky Sosa or Corky Belle's so-called "accomplishments." I'm with Hammerin' Hank on this one. Can't to see how Selig reacts to the known substance-abuser.

How do we know Rodriguez never juiced? We don't. Hell, for all we know, Rodriguez is sticking human growth hormone in his butt as I'm writing this. No test for it, and nobody would be the wiser.
But I agree, if Rodriguez doesn't get hurt, he's going to end up with the record, so the Bonds thing is going to be a moot issue soon enough.
