My review of "The War" will be in Sunday's Beacon Journal. I had some issues — and think Ken Burns mishandled the Latino question — but kept watching. We'll talk more about it.

TV Tattle has a link to an item about Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb that will probably boost sales of "The Brady Bunch" DVDs. And that may inspire new line readings of "Marcia Marcia Marcia."

But keep in mind that the item is credited to a source for the National Enquirer.

When I was watching "Eastern Promises" on Monday, Viggo Mortensen's look, seen here …

made me think of Steve Martin in "My Blue Heaven," seen here with costar Rick Moranis …

It wasn't just the hair, although that was part of it. There's a similar approach to fashion, and Mortensen playing dumb has a facial expression reminiscent of Martin's.

The comparison ends here. Where Mortensen has a revealing scene in "Eastern Promises," Martin does not fight naked in "My Blue Heaven."
