He was given a song that should have been a home run. It would have been for Carly or David A, at the very least. But he managed to do nothing with it. It's almost as if they knew he was the one contestant who couldn't hit it out. As for Brooke, not a good move on her part, and Paula's vehement defense made no sense. It's not as if she could stop in a concert while lip-synching, er, singing "Straight Up." And as I said in my notes -- I think you commented while I was still in progress -- Webber made a really good mentor. Would like to see more like him.
