TV Tattle has a link to this post in which a Brit laments about all the good British actors working in TV and movies in America.
It barely scratches the surface in naming names. Who, for instance, is the current Batman? Welshman Christian Bale. And how many foreign actors are playing Americans in TV series?
So to the writer's lament, I say, too bad.
As the piece notes, many of those actors have crossed the pond because there's more, better work in the U.S. (Well, when the writers aren't striking, anyway.)
And Americans have at times had to seek work overseas. Clint Eastwood was basically a TV actor in the U.S. before becoming a movie star in spaghetti westerns, which in turn fueled success on American screens. As long as the work is good, who cares where the actors made it?
