Writers Strike: Still Dragging
I tend to read Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood Daily first on this stuff, and she's not full of great news in this post. …
Here's her bottom line:
I'm going to wait until I receive a report about Wednesday's talks before I begin passing judgment on what's happening, or not happening, here. But I must say that Day #2 certainly puts a damper on all those wishful-thinking rumors sweeping Hollywood and beyond — but not here at DHD — that the strike would be settled by December 8th.

Interesting link, Chuck, perhaps even more so when you consider this announcement from CBS today:
"CBS News regrets not being able to offer the Democratic presidential debate scheduled for Dec. 10 in Los Angeles. The possibility of picket lines set up by the Writers Guild of America and the unwillingness of many candidates to cross them made it necessary to allow the candidates to make other plans."
