If things go well, I think they should re-do the American Express commercial, kinda stick it to the national media. Unfortunately, MasterCard is the MLB affiliate.

I don't think about the third one, other than it doesn't involve the Indians (luckily), and I believe it was probably just a rotten screenplay with a few characters thrown in and the "Major League" title attached for branding purposes. And, it featured Ted McGinley. 'Nuff said.

Well, in my fantasy world, the Indians went on to win it all after the end of "Major League," and the story was changed just so they could make the vastly inferior "Major League II" (and we don't even want to think about the third one). But I'll believe in almost any scenario that includes the Indians beating the Rockies in the series.

But, if you'll recall from Major League II, that only got the Indians so far. I seem to recall (though having only seen Major League II once, since once was enough), that the Indians were subsequently swept by the White Sox in the ALCS (being in different divisions back then and all). Maybe being swept is the part of the story the Rockies can live out in the World Series.
