I just re-read the part about Smokey Robinson singing with the letter "U." I could be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure that may have been produced sometime in the later 70s or early 80s. Perhaps for the next volume!

I will definitely be waiting for this like I did with The Electric Company DVD set back in January--not only for myself but my son. When he's finally of Sesame Street age I'd like him to see it how I remembered it (Elmo-free).

I'm looking forward to Hairy Monster and John-John doing the alphabet, and Kermit singing the alphabet with the little girl who seems to think that one of the letters is "Cookie Monster." I'm also looking forward to getting glimpses of characters and actors who are no longer with us (Mr. Hooper and David).
