There sure was a short but lingering close-up that seemed to connect Phil's housekeeper with Svetlana, though it didn't register with me until you pointed it out. The housekeeper doesn't have to necessarily be Svetlana to make that connection--the show is that good--or to be a mole. That's interesting.

Since we didn't see Christopher at the meeting, we don't know for sure that he went. I just felt that he did. But, speaking of the Russian, didn't it look as if Phil's housekeeper was Svetlana, the one-legged Russian from seasons past? I thought so, at least, and was intrigued by the possibility that Tony -- or someone -- had a mole in Phil's house. My colleague Alan Sepinwall, expert on all things ''Sopranos,'' doesn't think it was the same person. (Update: I've since had a chance to check the episode's closing credits, and the two characters are played by different actresses.)

Maybe I'm confused but do we know Christopher went to the NA meeting? He wanted to drive separately and I got the distinct feeling he was giving the girl the shake.

I'm not completely convinced Tony has forgiven him for the real estate agent, either. His initial reaction mirrored his reaction with the city councilman/russian girl earlier in the series. Frustrated by outside events, he returned to whip the politician into submission.

It will be interesting to see what will be easier for Christopher to give up--drugs or the girl--and what Tony is more willing to forgive. Or is it all the same thing?
