I just read this and almost, but not quite, confused this awards event with the awarding of the Nobel Prizes.

This reminds me of all the sponsored awards at the People's Choice Awards. I watched that show for less than a minute but got to see two awards that were the "Oil of Olay" achievement award (or something like that).

For me, the best way to find out who won awards shows is to go on the web the next morning and find out who won in about 30 seconds rather than go through all the BS and filler…
