Here's Jon Stewart cracking on The Great Tele-Communicator for taking his teleprompter and presidential podium, complete with the presidential seal, to a sixth grade middle school classroom.

Barack Hussein Obama, truly a man in touch with the little people.

Obama took no questions from the class after his speech, saying "a couple kids looked like they might be plants from Fox News." After it's stint in the sixth grade, TOTUS had to rush back to Washington D.C. to give it's State Of The Union Address tonight. Obama will also be in attendance and serve as the voice of TOTUS, due to a scheduling conflict with TOTUS' first choice, actor Morgan Freeman.

One has to wonder how really bright the Pres. is when he cant speak before a group of sixth graderss without his read the lines machine.
By the way what ever happened to the press conferences he promised? Yea, I quess that would cause his teleprompter to malfunction.

  • Tbomb

Another example of the biased liberal media supporting the Pres…..whoops

  • averagejoe5

I think he may be a robot….like a stepford wife. I would rather spell potato with an e than to have to take a teleprompter into a 6th grade classroom, That was classic King

First Olby and now The Teleprompter. A year ago, we'd be seeing a spate of articles and opinion pieces in Salon.com, etc., about how Stewart has lost his comedic touch following such bits, but it's becoming much more acceptable to mock the left's comically complete incompetence. It's nice to see.

Maybe some of you are more scholarly tham I am and eagerly check all the cited sites, but I never bother to. I always assume that you have some basis for your position. Being about 60-40 conservative/liberal I'll give a 60% credibility rating to a conservative website i.e., one pushed by say, Angryconserv or DA, but only about 40% to one of Rev's or Walter's which is far greater than the percentage of times I have agreed with them. Blame it on info overkill or the perceived shortness of life or just plain sloth; whatever.

  • Da King

    Note to Tbomb –
The Jon Stewart show is comedy, not news media.

But if you don't think Stewart's politics lean left, then you must be learning disabled.

  • Da King

    The Onion rules, as always.

  • The Reverend

    My Pet Goat…anyone?

  • Da King

Is there another way to read a book than to READ it, Reverend ?

    False comparison.

  • Roy

President Bush didn't need a teleprompter to talk to elementary students.

  • Tbomb

President Bush didn't need a teleprompter because he couldn't read! Factcheck.org. has photos of Obama speaking to the students sans teleprompter. The clip Stewart shows was from his speech to reporters.

  • larry d.

You must be proud, Tbomb. He only needed the teleprompter to chat up a couple reporters (a "speech" to reports"-ha!). No wonder he hasn't held a press conference in six months.

  • Tbomb

Doesn't that sort of undercut the whole point of Queen's post?

  • Da King

Are you calling the liberal Jon Stewart a propagandist liar, Tbomb ?

Besides, seeing is believing. The telemprompter WAS in that sixth grade classroom, no ?
