No, I didn't review every ad decision CBS ever made in the history of the Super Bowl before I wrote my post. Evidently MediaMatters did in an attempt to justify the unjustifiable anti-free speech position taken by liberal groups.

But that doesn't change anything I wrote. Liberals are anti-free speech by their own actions, and, btw, liberals invariably FAVOR double standards, as long as the double standard favors liberals. In fact, I wrote a post called The Double Standard not so long ago which addressed that very issue.

Your comment made no sense. I'll assume you misunderstood my words that you quoted.

And Obama does want to eliminate don't ask, don't tell, ran for President on ending the Iraq War, and wants to close Gitmo.

I will give you this – out of every 100 issues, Obama is only liberal on about 90 of them. I call that a liberal. You call it a conservatives or a moderate. Not to mention that THE SUBJECT OF MY POST WAS FEDERAL SPENDING, where Obama is the most liberal President ever so far.

They're probably as confused as anyone, walt. Backroom deals on the one hand, public demonization on the other. It's tough dealing with snakes but they've got some experience in that regard and will probably take Obama to the cleaners in the end, I'd guess.

2. Obama already INCREASED non-defense discretionary spending by about $100 billion during his first year in office. In FY2009, President Bush's last budget, that spending was $589 billion. Obama jumped it to $687 billion for FY2010, and he did it during a recessionary period of no inflation. That's not moderate either. That's standard liberal big government policy.

That is wrong. Increasing defense spending is traditonal, boilerplate conservative ideology.

And the rest of the stuf just proves Obama is a…..moderate.

Liberals don't want wars escalated, corporations coddled, or a multiple-tiered legal system which will try you if you can be found guilty, but inprisons you indefinitely if they can't prove your guilt. Obama has not been liberal in the area of gay rights. He has not eliminated don't ask, don't tell. He's a moderate. One could even say he's a conservative.

I would think that the double standard by CBS is what has the free speechers upset

I can't imagine the Republicans not voting for it, even though it's a joke. The GOP spent the whole year castigating Obama for his spendthrift ways, so at least now they have Obama on record admitting that spending has spun way out of control, which isn't a newsflash to anyone but liberals.

I hope the Repubs go ahead and criticize the move as a joke, yet full heartedly support it with votes. It's a political move that doesn't make sense–taking away the "party of no" refrain the lemmings constantly recite while also deflating Obama's delusionary base. For most Americans, it will take much more than this to wash away Obama's stench of profligacy.
