"The truth – Republicans have offered an alternative, and it drives down costs and insurance premiums, which was supposed to be one of the primary goals of health care reform. The obvious shortfall of the GOP plan is that it doesn't cover as many of the uninsured as the Democrats plan does, but it's actually the Dems plan that makes health care costs rise."

Too bad this plan is to keep everything exactly the way it currently is, but spend more taxpayers' money in the name of a "new system."

Joe, I think the Dems are afraid of Palin because they don't know yet, but fear that she has begun her run at the Presidency with 3 years to go. Obama began about 1 1/2 years before he needed to and look what he did. With 3 years they fear that she will slide him over. They just don't like the things she says because they point out all the weaknesses of Obama and "his" Congress.

King, I thought I had been sick Saturday night but now you bring up Dirty Harry talking about saving Medicare and he hasn't yet told us how he will do that by taking 50 to 60 billion out of it every year. I wonder how many Dems there are who are stupid enough to allow that kind of talk to continue.

Why are libs so afraid of Sarah Palin? Why do they want to constantly tear her down? SHe is an innocent young woman who in realty is a feminist dream according to what she has achieved. Maybe if she were fatter with cankles and had a bit of a lesbian style mullet she would be accepted.

Thought I'd vomit Saturday night, but I'm actually glad they got their 60 votes to open up Pandora's box. Now they can have a "peaceful" Thanksgiving while the constituents begin sharpening knives and lighting torches, resulting in more "angry mobs". I'm not sure if there is a "death panel" provision which provides counseling for individuals teetering with political suicide, but there needs to be. With unemployment expected to get worse and no job creation expected for 2010....................I would be quite worried if I were Reid or Pelosi.
