Attention Haters, Palin And Hannity Together

by Da King on November 19, 2009

in conservatism,Uncategorized

Why bother watching Olbermann or Maddow go after Sarah Palin, when you can get a two-fer by watching both Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity together in one interview ?!?! Here it is from the source, undiluted. Grab yourself a veggie burger and a soy latte, and get your hate on.

My favorite line ? Palin actually referred to the liberal elitist tabloid hate press as "the lamestream media." How can I not like that ? I use the term myself, and they haven't even attacked my family, as they have Palin's. She has earned the right.

  • frank

    Should be a laff riot.

  • averagejoe5

You have to admit she is hot…..

  • Andrea

OH how sweet :) ..Sarah talking to her base about hunting and gee whiz eloping and not having much money and Todd family values all SAFE subjects . God forbid he asks her a dangerous subject like the witch Katie Curic did and ask something hard like " what books do you read. "
Please Sarah go get a job your qualified for like the Jeopardy girl to turn the cards over.

  • The Reverend

If being basicly a likeable person qualified an American for high office…..then Palin would be qualified.

I watched two parts of the Hannity interview, if that's what you call it……what is so very annoying, and I think, offensive, is Sarah's self-victimization problem.

Hannity's mentioning of Letterman, a comedien, and the Globe, a grocery store rag, as the worst attackers of Palin and her family is just too much for non-wingnuts.

Sarah Palin hasn't earned the right to anything. Nothing. At best, she's a typical working mom. Millions of others, just like her. Yeah, she's got a pretty face, but she's also noticeably zany.

The only significant political role she ever had was being governor….and she quit half way through. Is that how she earned the right in your mind, King?

If being attacked by media qualified politicians to some right to something…..Bill Clinton would be entitled to be World President.

  • The Reverend
  • Tory Bug

How would you know what's too much for non-wingnuts, Reverend? Do you know one or something?

  • Da King

Thank you, libs, for proving that you are crazier than batsh*t. That was the whole reason I posted this. Palin Derangement Syndrome.

  • Da King

Rev says, "If being basicly a likeable person qualified an American for high office"

Hello ? Why do think Obama was elected ? He had more likeable bs than the other guy. It certainly wasn't because of his non-existent qualifications.

  • Da King

And Rev, the only thing your link proved was that the media is out to get Palin. Obama's thousand and one lies get a total pass.

    But we already knew that.

  • Tbomb

Right king ,Palin is super smart…much smarter than Obama. I pray she runs in 2012! Palin = derangement ..at least you're right about that.

  • Alexander D.

It appears that left has been "successful" at marginalizing the allure of Sarah. LOL

I must admit is nice hearing someone speak without ivy-league dialect or politically-correct rhetoric. Still haven't heard a rational reason from those who hate her, as to what formulates their opinions.
Women represent a demographic that the democrats are fearful of losing and therefore there is no choice but to attack. They continue to prop up Wasserman, Pelosi, Sebelius, and others as a role model for all women………………………but most Americans reflect upon their mothers as the mold for that model. We can envision Sarah living our lifestyle, but I have a hard time seeing these other crazies baking cookies for their kids and blending in with the down-to-earth crowds.

Not a big fan of scorned women gone feminist, and I'm not sure many are. Here lies the problem as the "pant-suit" brigade bigs out their big guns.

  • Tbomb

    I recommend palinspeak.com

  • walter

if I were a republican blogger this is the kind of thing I would post too King. And, like you I would point out how batshit crazy libruls were for mocking republican Palin and republican Hannitys' interview.

    just saying

  • Tory Bug

Thanks for posting this, King. I'm getting such a kick out of reading how crazy the mere thought of Sarah Palin makes liberals. What I think is most telling is that, for whatever reason, they don't seem to be attacking her views, but rather, they're attacking her as a person.

It really cracks me up, too, because she's actually every liberal/feminist's wet dream. She's been a successful politician, raising a family of 5 kids (one of whom has Down's). She seems to have figured out how to balance the best of both worlds in her life. But she's a conservative who refused to abort her child when she found out he wasn't perfect. She lives by her conservative/religious principles. I know, how dare she? I think that's what pisses the liberals off the most about her. She's everything that they're pushing women to be but doesn't share their values. That's the reason people here are attacking her, they're just somehow incapable of vocalizing that.

Usually, when you attack a politician, you attack their viewpoints. Instead, the liberals in the media are attacking her as a person. Why? I know that the conservatives have done the same thing to liberal women in the past. Hillary Clinton, for example. I have negative feelings about her, but because she supports things I oppose. I don't care if her husband is a serial philanderer, if she's a closet lesbian, etc. That stuff doesn't figure into the equation for me, and it shouldn't for anyone when judging a politician.

  • walter

tory…..Palin is joe's wet dream but for a different reason.

in the case of republican Senator David "Diaper Dave" Vitter, we shouldn't be concerned that he frequented prostitutes or we shouldn't be concerned that he wore diapers when he did?

  • terje

the term "haters" should be thrown into a pit and covered with lime along with the people who use it.

  • The Reverend

It's very interesting that wingers persist in saying that liberals hate Sarah Palin, or are afraid of her. Nothing could be further from the truth…..which…come to think of it….is what wingers thrive on.

Palin tells so many lies in her new book, it's difficult for reviewers to keep up. And when she's called on it, she lies about the lies. As Tbomb said…..Democrats, liberals, will be happy if she runs for president.

Just as crooked Republican politicians have hoodwinked vulnerable dunderheads of the culture wars in the past for their own selfish purposes…..so too Sarah Palin. She's cashing in while her celebrity is hot, knowing that she doesn't have the gravitias to lead in public office…..and ignorant and clueless conservatives are dead serious that she is a serious player.

It would all be good fodder for a few laughs…..except for the nuts who actually take her seriously.

And King…when you title a blog post "attention haters"…don't forget to include the TeaBaggers and the GOP, the most hateful among us today.

Tory…..Palin is an entertainer, an opportunist,…. not a politician. She proved that by quitting her governorship. If Sarah has viewpoints, it's news to the rest of us. If, indeed, she had viewpoints to critique……then liberals, like myself, would be doing so. But she doesn't have any. So we can't.

  • larry d.

What does Palin lie about in her book, Reverend?

  • frank

    Mr. averagejoe5,
I find Tina Fey more attractive. But Ms. Fey is less attractive when she dresses as Ms. Palin. I think Palin would be more attractive if she'd lose the glasses, real estate agent clothes and hairdo.

    Mr. King and Ms. Bug,
Why do you think people hate Ms. Palin. People are laughing at her, not hating her. Although all politicians are narcissists, Palin takes the cake by posing for a picture that rather demurely shows a small amount of thigh hidden by black tights, then claiming that its use is sexual exploitation.

  • Tory Bug

For real, name a single lie. I've never read her book, so I haven't a clue about it. Heard the AP fact checked it, but not sure they verified any lies. The only link with so-called lies seem kind of unverifiable to me. A he-said/she-said kind of thing. And none of what she's being accused of lying about is AT ALL SIGNIFICANT. Here's a list from HuffPo, none of which really constitutes a lie that can be proven, except for the reason she turned down stimulus money. And who cares why she turned it down, she's not lying about that part, lol.

You are so flipping blinded by your hatred of this woman that you can't even see what she stands for? She's all the things liberals hate. Pro-life, leave sex ed to parents; it's not the government's job, America should explore drilling here, global warming isn't man-made. And, worst of all, she believes in God and doesn't believe that teachers should be forbidden to discuss creationism if a student brings it up first. How dare she not agree with the Religion of Darwin? She's a registered Republican who, as I recall, was grilled on such matters while a VP nominee. Have you been living under a rock or held hostage by Jane Fonda not to be aware of these things?

  • Tory Bug
  • larry d.

That list is a joke Tory but it does put the Reverend's fibbing in perspective, I guess. It must be a lefty thing.

  • frank

So, let's see. larry d. challenges the Rev's assertion, Ms. Bug provides a source (one of about a million), larry d.————-wait for it———–attacks the source! Is that deja vu all over your chin, larry?

  • larry d.

    You got me, frank!

It's unavoidable when folks make bogus claims, I guess, but it doesn't make the claims any less bogus.

  • Tory Bug

There are probably a bunch of liberal sources on that, I just went for a ringer, I guess. You *know* that the Huff Po speaks for the LLs (liberal lemmings), so did I need to look any further? This is really the kind of crap people are bringing up to try to make Palin look dishonest. Hard to believe, almost as hard as I found it to believe that W. Clinton was forced through impeachment hearings for lying about something that was entirely his business.

I don't understand either. I guess people desperate to keep power do what they think they gotta, but it's just a pathetic grasping at straws, IMO. It is absolutely none of my business how much Palin involved her family in her decision to join McCain on the ticket, and it really makes me no difference if Bill Clinton was getting blown by a chippy in his office. How does any of this affect either's ability to govern?

  • walter

tory…..actually those "liberal sources" were probably republican campaign workers.

republican liars lying about republican liars……..sound about right?

some people are bothered by people lying, some people not so much…..you, not so much

  • Da King

The reason I posted this was too see if a bunch of unbalanced comments were made about Sarah Palin by those who hate her for no real reason. I thought there would be, and I sure wasn't disappointed.

    Palin Derangement Syndrome lives.

Tory, isn't it ironic that Palin, who is the embodiment of the feminist movement, being a successful woman who did it her way, crashed through the glass ceiling, and isn't afraid of stating her beliefs, is hated by the alleged supporters of that movement ? That just blows my mind. NOW hates Palin, thus exposing themselves as nothing more than a liberal political organization, as opposed to one that supports women. It reminds me of Rev. Jesse Jackson saying the other day that a black man who doesn't support this health care reform isn't really a black man. The arrogance of that statement is off the charts, as if every black person in America is supposed to think exactly the same way. Someday, people will catch on to this groupthink mind control stuff.

  • walter

King sez……"The reason I posted this was too see if a bunch of unbalanced comments were made about Sarah Palin by those who hate her for no real reason."

you have said that twice…..my question is….why didn't you point them out?

  • Fred

In all honesty how can anyone take this woman seriously? Palin is not smart enough. Palin is not experienced enough. Come people, are you serious? Please tell me you`re just foolin? The interviews? The comments? The lack of knowledge? She quit on Alaska? One thing is for sure though, she is hot!

  • Da King

Should be obvious, walt, but okay.

Rev said, "Sarah Palin hasn't earned the right to anything. Nothing. At best, she's a typical working mom"

Rev said, "Palin tells so many lies in her new book, it's difficult for reviewers to keep up"

Andrea said, "Please Sarah go get a job your qualified for like the Jeopardy girl to turn the cards over."

Frank says, " Although all politicians are narcissists, Palin takes the cake by posing for a picture that rather demurely shows a small amount of thigh hidden by black tights, then claiming that its use is sexual exploitation"

Palin was the governor of Alaska, the mayor of Wasilla, the chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, the 2008 Republican VP candidate, has written her autobiography…and Reverend dimwit says she's nothing but a working mom like any other, unqualified for anything, and Andrea thinks she's Vanna White.

You should have been able to figure that out without me explaining it to you, walter.

  • Tbomb

    palinspeak.com

  • walter

I don't see that as hateful at all. Typical republican…….make a mountain out of a molehill

  • walter

King, I would tend to agree that comparing Palin to a working Mom is insulting and just batshit crazy…… Rev, you owe working Moms' an apology

  • frank

McCain doesn't deserve the treatment he and his campaign have gotten from her after plucking her from obscurity. But I guess that he will have to be sacrificed just like Goldwater, whose principles got in the way.

  • Da King

Palin has nothing but good things to say about McCain, frank. And McCain said he enjoyed Palin's book and has a fine relationship with her.

  • Da King

And thanks for proving my point, walt.

  • The Reverend

I apologize to all working moms.

Personally, I like Sarah. She's good to look at…like Paris or Brittney…or any other FOX fembot. Sarah is feisty and perky…qualities in females that I appreciate.

However, none of that comes close to qualifying her for high political office.

frank brings up Goldwater. That's astute on his part. The GOP is at another Goldwater moment and Sarah is the proof. The GOP can decide to go whichever direction they choose, of course…..but the country is not going in that direction.

  • The Reverend

    Oh yeah…almost forgot….

    Palin a feminist?

Outside of the fact that she is a working mom…..which was my original comment point earlier…Sarah stands for everything the authentic feminist movement is against.

  • Da King

So Reverend, on top of everything else, you're a sexist. Great. I should have known.

And then you have the nerve to think you know what feminism is about.

Here's the definition of feminism – "the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes"

If Palin doesn't represent that, then the word has no meaning.

  • larry d.

The Reverend and his ilk believe feminists are only feminists if they act like he wants them to. Kind of like Jesse Jackson's recent statement about black folks and the health care bill.

  • The Reverend

    Jesse Jackson? What?

Palin is an evangelical conservative who believes in the biblical teachings of male dominance in the family. Is there some argument about the truth of that statement? Palin does not recognize women as the captain of their own lives having agreed with white male conservatives that THEY should make all reproductive decisions for women…like they used to.

Palin believes in abstinence only…and appropriating tax money to teach it.

Those aren't feminist doctrines. At all.

    Like I said…she's a working mom.

  • larry d.

Your last sentence reveals your lack of self-awareness as well as your deep seated misogynism, Reverend. You can't get rid of the latter without first developing the former but I will try and help you any way I can.

  • Da King

Rev says, "Palin is an evangelical conservative who believes in the biblical teachings of male dominance in the family. Is there some argument about the truth of that statement ?"

No, there's no argument. You're just wrong. If you can't see that Palin is the star in her own family, or that she pursues her own path, there's really no hope for you. Seek help at the Institute For The Treatment Of Advanced Olbermania.

Jesse Jackson said a black man who didn't favor ObamaCare wasn't really a black man. Standard groupthink mentality.

  • larry d.

Jackson's quote must not have gotten much coverage from the "real news" that guides the Reverend's world view. Those outlets are too busy investigating who does the dishes in the Palin household.

  • Da King

Nope. I don't think the "real news" has gotten around to covering the hacked climate change e-mails either, though the NY Times did mention the hacking, but wouldn't reveal the content due to the Times high ethical standards of only releasing privileged or classified information that is politically helpful.

  • larry d.

Maybe they'll get around to that after Obama bows his way through Copenhagen.

  • Da King

I did notice that after the climate change e-mails revealed that the pro-global warming advocates were rigging the results in their favor, the Associated Press came out with an article a couple days later saying global warming was far WORSE than was originally thought.

Maybe if Obama apologizes enough and throws some cash around, the Copenhagen experts will notice that global warming stalled over a decade ago, and that the IPCC's hockey stick graph has been wrong ever since it was published. Maybe. It'll probably take a lot of bowing and cash. I think Obama's the man for the job.

  • Da King of Reason

"The reason I posted this was too see if a bunch of unbalanced comments were made about Sarah Palin by those who hate her for no real reason. I thought there would be, and I sure wasn't disappointed."

How's this for a real reason:

I hate Sarah Palin because frankly, she is emblematic of everything that I despise about America.
    -She is stupid and uneducated
-She gets by on her good looks and charm
-She once stated that she wanted to enforce the teaching of Creationism in PUBLIC schools, if elected
-She lets her religious views interfere with her "politics" (and I use that term lightly)
-She praised Bush's bailout package, but then ostracized Obama's. Can you say "slave to the Republican Party?"
-She was selected to make McCain's fairly central campaign look like a wingnut campaign, because the Republicans thought McCain wasn't getting enough support from the far right, even though he led the polls at that point and then quickly plummeted
-She wants to cut education and transportation funding- both of which, it can be argued, are the backbone of our country's future success.
-She is against gay marriage but gives no reasoning as to why other than that, contrary to the New Testament of the Bible, which is the basis of the entire Christian religion, there are some homophobic comments in the Old Testament, so obviously gay marriage is terrible because something written 3000 years ago says so. Meanwhile, the New Testament preaches forgiveness and acceptingness. Hmm…
-She says she wants small business to succeed, but then wants nothing to do with saving it, rather favoring huge corporations like Walmart that monopolize for fun.
-She does not agree with the concept of a "hate-crime"; all crimes are "hate-based". Because clearly, a man who is desperate enough to steal to support his family HATES the people he steals from. Sound logic, Sarah.
-She is a hypocrite for many reason, among them: she smoked pot when it was legal in Alaska, but now heavily condemns the use of it and/or legalization of it. Meanwhile, we have thousands of drunk-driving related deaths per years, and we're focusing on recreational pot use. Nice.
-She believes in Global Warming, but doesn't think it is man-made. HUH?!
-She wants to sue the US Government for listing the polar bear as an endangered species. Ok, in 50 years, when all the polar bears are gone, will they be endangered THEN?
-She has no foreign policy, because she had never left Alaska before last fall.
-She once wanted to build a bridge to an essentially uninhabited island, something that taxpayers would have had to entirely fund.
-She supports total gun rights, even as "Tea Party" protesters bring them to town hall meetings.
-She believes that "Terrorists in Iraq" are the biggest threat to American safety.

    Shall I continue?
