Spin, spin, spin. Deceive, deceive, deceive. Geez, this gets tiresome.

#1 - I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you just read the realclearpolitics link wrong, Rev. The line that includes all the states is the fourth one down. Hillary got 175,000 more votes than Obama. If you remember, the Democrats undemocratically excluded some states. I believe your original point that I addressed was about having democratic elections, no ?

#2 - Rev says, "Bush began an investigation into the New York Times. Charges were going to be brought, etc. Obama said FOX is more of a talk-radio style network. Those are, somehow, equal?"

First of all, Obama didn't just criticize Fox News. If he had, I wouldn't care. He stopped making administration officials available to Fox News shows in August, and he tried to exclude them from the White House pool last week. He also had his minions say they weren't a news organization, which they are.

Secondly, are you now saying it's okay for the news media to divulge classified information ? I hope not. When Fox News does that to Obama, then you'll have something to talk about.

Third, Fox IS a news organization. It's stupid to say they aren't. They broadcast the news all day long, and they have political commentary shows on at night. Get over yourself.

#3 - "ACORN employees played along."

LOL. ACORN "played along." That's why ACORN fired those employees, for "playing along."

#4 - "The ACORN voter registration problem is first and foremost, not a voter fraud issue"

LOL again. Hundreds of thousands of phony voter registrations is not a voter fraud issue ? Are we in the Twilight Zone now ?

Seriously, you'll say anything to be an apologist for whatever liberals do.

And save your silly adjectives (ugly, ignorant, reprehensible). You're only using them because I called you despicable for the string of lies you promoted on the other thread, and because you've been exposed here. Just admit you're wrong. That's what an honorable person would do when confronted by such overwhelming evidence of his errors.

Your realclearpolitics link shows Obama winning the primary popular vote by 41,000 votes.

And this is pure authoritarianism...

"I don't know about Bush going after MSNBC, but the Bush administration went after the NY Times for leaking classified information. That is light years away from what Obama is doing. He's going after Fox News because he doesn't like them."

Bush began an investigation into the New York Times. Charges were going to be brought, etc.
Obama said FOX is more of a talk-radio style network.

Those are, somehow, equal?

Is it that dyslexic problem again? FOX went after Obama, promoting anti-Obama events, repeating lies about Obama's administration. Obama, timidly, stated that FOX wasn't really a news organization.....something that the the majority of the country already knows to be the case. There were no threats made, no investigations opened, no charges brought.....nothing like that.....that's what Republicans do. Only a statement of the obvious. FOX is neither fair nor balanced, I suppose that's the ironic point,....and is no more a news organization than Rush Limbaugh is a reliable source.

And what's with the pimp and whore sting stuff. How ridiculous. There's nothing there. Some dumb asses played dress up and brought a camera and acted stupid and ACORN employees played along. I mean....WTF? This is evidence of what? Not a thing.

The ACORN voter registration problem is first and foremost, not a voter fraud issue. Conservatives knowingly blur the two. It is true that inependent contractors, working for ACORN, perpetrated fraud...but it was, primarily, fraud against ACORN. In every case I've read about, ACORN reported the fraudulent voter registrations.

This ugly and ignorant attack on ACORN is unseemly. Reprehensible.

No lies from me, walt. Only from you.

They did release the Philly ACORN tape, and it shows the ACORN workers aiding and abetting the pimp and the prostitute, contrary to what ACORN said. The pimp and prostitute were not kicked out. ACORN lied again, and you are wrong again.

And why are you linking me to stuff about Enron ? How desperate.

the pimp and the pro.......why won't they release the entire Philly tape?

CFTC CHARGES ENRON WITH PRICE MANIPULATION AND OTHER ILLEGAL ACTS

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today the filing of a complaint in federal district court in Houston, Texas, charging defendants Enron Corp. (Enron), an Oregon Corporation headquartered in Houston, and Hunter S. Shively (Shively) of Houston, Texas, with manipulation or attempted manipulation, and charging Enron with operating an illegal futures exchange, and trading an illegal, off-exchange agricultural futures contract.

King sez......."ACORN indicted/convicted/ investigated for voter fraud....."

I know some of ACORN's workers were indicted and convicted of voter fraud (with ACORN's cooperation by the way), but I havn't seen where ACORN has been convicted of voter fraud.

Rev says, "King has nothing on ACORN…..nothing. And he is wrong on the Hillary-had-more-primary-votes-than-Obama…..there's no evidence of that whatsoever. "

That's what I like about you, Rev. When you don't have a response, you just resort to outright lies so you can remain in denial. ACORN indicted/convicted/ investigated for voter fraud in 14 states, and Rev says, nothing to see here. Sure buddy, whatever you say. I've written entire posts about ACORN. I guess you didn't read those.

And Hillary DID get more primary votes than your hero if all the votes from all the states are counted.

What now, Mr. Democracy ?

Andrea says, "I seem to recall less than 2 years ago the Bush administrations attacks on MSNBC & NY Times . Not only that they wanted to prosecute the journalists who published the truth"

I don't know about Bush going after MSNBC, but the Bush administration went after the NY Times for leaking classified information. That is light years away from what Obama is doing. He's going after Fox News because he doesn't like them.

And MSNBC's opinions are every bit as slanted as Fox News. Why isn't the President including them on his list of non-news organizations ????

I can't believe liberals are defending Obama on this. He has gone so far as to try to exclude one of the major networks, and all the liberals here are just trying to find some moral relativity, instead of standing up for a free press. Hot dang, folks. Wake up.

And Steve, I'm sure you can admit that the media bashed the heck out of Bush, correct ???? That was okay, wasn't it ????

1) I find it hilarious that Republicans are bashing Obama for allegedly playing the media, directly following 8 years of "If you bash Bush you're anti-American"

2) Are you really saying we should feel bad for Palin because of lies told about her, when she's openly telling lies across the world?

What's sad is that I honestly feel many Obama-bashers would rather him fail than succeed, and will try to do everythng in their power to make it happen.

King has nothing on ACORN.....nothing. And he is wrong on the Hillary-had-more-primary-votes-than-Obama.....there's no evidence of that whatsoever.

roy...yes, yes, I'm sure FOX has a few respectable reporters.....I gave Shep Smith credit already. However, as Andrea points out, the FOX problem is from Murdoch and Ailes, especially Ailes. And he's running FOX news. Ailes is a pure anti-Obama, pro-Republican conservative who has built an entire "news" outlet into an arm of the Republican Party.

I seem to recall less than 2 years ago the Bush administrations attacks on MSNBC & NY Times . Not only that they wanted to prosecute the journalists who published the truth , just because they didn't like it to come out . They weren't arguing the facts they were against the news to be reported. The difference with Fox is , it isn't news- it is slanted opinions. They have a few honest journalists on the show but they are still under control of those on top, Murdock the neo conservative. These journalists are told what they can and cant say. When I listen to it I can tell how they are misleading , but if you only listen to fox you are in a closed tunnel. That's whats wrong- you don't know how they are misleading they are because you only get one sided slanted info mising pieces of facts.

Rev, I think that the fact that you hear all those radio people precludes you watching Fox News daytime reporting. It was the daytime I was talking about. You know the time when people of both sides of things are allowed to speak their piece. There is that one wildly Dem talk show personality named Bob who shows up all day long spewing left leaning Pelosi all over the place. I can't really believe that he actually believes most of what he spews. You do know the one I mean since you say you watch them all day long, I hope.

Speaking of allowing Dems to talk all day long, I am wondering how much of that takes place on MSNBC. I ask because I never see anything with NBC on the end, and for good reason.

Rev, you took my mention of Fox reporting the news all day long out of context and that is a very left leaning MO in my estimation. I said all day and you talk only about evening programming. I guess you never see any of those people like Bob Bechel appearing on Fox in the evening when all the editorializing takes place.

Poor soul, do you remember that? You don't really believe that anyone here really agrees with you and the Rahm/David attempt last week to begin the attempt at marginalization of Fox do you? Well maybe a couple.

Rev says, "Bush didn't beat Gore in 2000, Gore had 500,000 more votes. How democratic is that?"

We have this thing called the Electoral College.

But if we're going by popular vote, then Obama didn't beat Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primaries either. Hillary had about 175,000 more overall votes than Obama did. That makes him an illegitimate President in the Reverend's eyes.

I know you are prone to making wildly exaggerated claims...like this....

"ACORN is the central entity in one of the most corrupt, money laundering groups the world has ever known."

..and this...

"Tell me how it is right and fair to give that money to one of the most morally corrupt groups in the world. Tell me how they didn't use their enforcement arm, Muscle for Money, to help cause the housing crisis."

But please, roy,...ACORN helps those who are disadvantaged and poor in America's cities. Because ACORN registers primarily Democratic voters, I understand your desire to villify and demonize them....but you're so over the top on this, it makes you appear....ridiculous.

I watch FOX, I see their video clips, I hear Hannity, Rush, Medved and Beck on the radio. I know the manure FOX is peddling. It's just that you're buying the manure and I'm not.

And this...

"No Rev, Fox just reports things that happen each day with very little editorial inference."

..is either openly dishonest on your part, or an example of being totally oblivious to reality.

Whatever has been wrong out their in Kansas.....is still....wrong.

Rev stands up for what ACORN does that is good but never mentions the corruption in the group. I am sure that there have been serial killers who appeared to be good people to some especially if they took from the "rich" and gave to the poor. ACORN is the central entity in one of the most corrupt, money laundering groups the world has ever known. I am sure that Old Rev failed to believe one word the Fox people told about all the nearly 300 like organizations that had their mailing address in the same small building in New Orleans. Somehow nobody ever even attempted to refute that and yet ACORN and one of its member groups, SEIU continue in business doing their thing. Why ACORN even still gets its federal money from AmeriCorps because the Democrats control the same Congress that voted to stop that flow of cash to them. There is a lot of rot and corruption in ACORN but I am sure that it extends into that Democrat controlled Congress.

Come on and defend the actions of the Congress in this deal, Rev. Tell me how it is right and fair to give that money to one of the most morally corrupt groups in the world. Tell me how they didn't use their enforcement arm, Muscle for Money, to help cause the housing crisis. I have not found anything that tells me that it wasn't a part of the Emanuel "crisis" that couldn't be wasted. Help me understand all this Rev.

Rev, have you caught Beck, Hannity and O'Reilly reporting the news for Fox all day every day? You keep badmouthing Fox as a purely editorial group but somehow I watch them all day every day and don't see their kind of activity taking place. I don't care for their male, female type of reporting but would rather hear and watch Megyn Kelly than Bill Hemmer and so on. No Rev, Fox just reports things that happen each day with very little editorial inference. You sound just like my best liberal friends who swear they never watch Fox because of this or that and still know everything they did all day long and who the stars of each reporting team are and what they look like. Are you one of those secretive watchers who doesn't want the rest of the progressive group to know about you?

Rev,
You're such an Obama company man. That's so sad.

You blame Fox News for covering ACORN's multitude of sins. You should be blaming the rest of the media for not covering ACORN.

Then you pose this absurd question - "Should the White House refuse access to Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, all radio talkers, ….or should they be invited in also to question White House officials?"

Nobody is saying that. Fox News is a legitimate news organization, as legitimate as any of the rest. The point here is, the Obama admin should not exclude Fox News reporters. I can't believe you are trying to defend that. You're in the wrong country. Try Venezuela or Cuba.

Then you cap your hypocrisy off by trying to say Palin wasn't a victim, after she was torn apart by the liberal media, who told a mountain of lies about her, did everything they could do to try to bring her down, and harrasses and insults her to this day.

Nearly every word you speak is rife with double standards. You hate Fox News because you disagree with them ideologically, end of story. This is America, in case you've forgotten. We have freedom of the press. Just because you don't like a viewpoint doesn't mean it should be squashed.

angryc,
When Obama met with his liberal media buddies, including Olbermann, the single biggest news distortionist in the country, ONE DAY after his minions went on the attack saying Fox News wasn't a news organization (and of course Fox News is a news organization. That isn't even worthy of debate), then it showed an extraordinary amount of hypocrisy on Obama's part. And when the Obama admin tries to exclude Fox News from media events, that should trouble everybody.

That's right angry.

average.....Bush didn't beat Gore in 2000, Gore had 500,000 more votes. How democratic is that?
And why have you allowed yourself to be caught up in the Sarah-is-a-victim trap? I only wish Sarah the best.....but it's so obvious that she is simply and only a telegenic opportunist. Nothing wrong with that....but presidential material? Ain't no way.

I stand up for what ACORN does good. I want Goldman closed and it's officers placed into federal prison.....and I don't care if Summers and Geithner go with them. So there's that.

Who is liberal on NBC? Who? It sure isn't Bryan Williams. Olbermann, Maddow and Shultz.....that's it. And that's including ALL news outlets. There are no other left voices in anchor positions. Couric, Gibson, Mitchell, Todd...are all Villager clones who support the status quo, ....that ain't liberal.

I stand up for what ACORN does good. I want Goldman closed and it's officers placed into federal prison…..and I don't care if Summers and Geithner go with them. So there's that.

Who is liberal on NBC? Who? It sure isn't Bryan Williams. Olbermann, Maddow and Shultz…..that's it. And that's including ALL news outlets. There are no other left voices in anchor positions. Couric, Gibson, Mitchell, Todd…are all Villager clones who support the status quo, ….that ain't liberal.
